SKARDU: Engineer Manzoor Hussain Parwana, a patriotic leader of Gilgit, Baltistan, has proceeded to Mumbai to participate the International Conference there from June 26 to 28 under the United Nation Global Compact and Strategic Foresight Group.
The topic of the conference is ‘Our Responsibilities for the Peace, Business and Perpetuity’. In the conference, the scholars and experts from across the world will discuss the existing issues of international peace and perpetuity.
The participants will analyse the effects of the global warming on the environment and discuss measures to save the world from the scarcity of water and food.
Before leaving for India, Engineer Manzoor Parwana said that he will represent Gilgit Baltistan in the conference and inform the delegates about the geographical and environmental importance of the region. He said that he will make a presentation on the reasons that have adverse effects on the environment, glaciers, wildlife and minerals of Gilgit and Baltistan.
