RAWALPINDI: The Balawaristan National Students Organization has called upon the students to concentrate on their education and prepare themselves to meet the challenges and work for attainment of basic rights of the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
In a meeting held at a hotel in Rawalpindi with BNSO Islamabad-Rawalpindi unit president Amir Taimur Azam in the chair, the students said Balawaristan National Front is a reality and efforts by some elements to hamper its struggle for rights would fail miserably.
Speaking on the occasion, member executive BNSO Karachi, Mehboob Ali stressed the need for more coordination among the students though holding of symposium, seminars and literary sittings. He said since establishment of the BNF, struggle for Gilgit-Baltistan’s rights had gain momentum. He asked the participants to work for building self-confidence among the students. On behalf of BNSO Karachi, he congratulated the BNSO Rawalpindi-Islamabad zone and Hazara division for showing excellent performance in a short period of time.
The meeting was informed that seven units of the organization were actively working in the twin cities which was a good sign.
The meeting asked the students to ensure unity in their ranks and work for achievement of their rights.
Unit in charges of the BNSO from Rawalpindi Commerce College, Jinnah Islamia College, Asghar Mall College, Government College of Commerce, H-9 College International Islamic University spoke on the occasion.
